Mag ik hieronder verstaan dat Spa nog altijd een competitief GT2-veld over de vloer zal krijgen, maar aangevuld met G2's en eventueel S1's, en dat dit dus kan zorgen voor kwantitatieve boost?

Wat gebeurt er dan met GT2-teams zoals Prospeed, BMS, Beechdean? Allen richting GT Open?

S1 niet, dat was toch al duidelijk? FIA GT2 (of desgevallend alle GT2's)-GT3-GT4-GT Nationaal.

'k Heb dat artikel inderdaad gelezen, maar dacht dat er mss verandering in zou komen nu de 24h een 'open' race wordt.

Dat ze er maar een soort "all-comers race" van maken, net zoals die van de Nordschleife.

En moet het dan ook niet overzichtelijk blijven voor het publiek? Dat is één van de redenen waarom de Procar van '99-'00 zo bekritiseerd werd meen ik me te herinneren...

Bij de Procar in haar nadagen werd er per drie deelnemers een klasse opgericht zodat iedereen een podiumplek kon behalen. Veel klassen an sich hoeven geen belemmering zijn, als ze maar een aanvaardbaar nivo laten zien qua kwaliteit en kwantiteit.

Naast de bevestiging van Black Falcon (autosport.be) met wss Keneth Heyer, schreef la DH maandag dat de FIA de nieuwe M3's aanvaardt heeft! De kans dat Schnitzer naar Spa komt bestaat dus weer..

De Audi R8 LMS die terug zou deelnemen, is dat dan dezelfde versie als vorig jaar? Dat was toch geen GT3, wat mogen we het dan zelf noemen, GT2? Waarom kan Audi zo gemakkelijk een 'speciale' versie laten starten, terwijl BMW absoluut de aanvaarding van de FIA nodig heeft?

Audi komt met de GT3, maar die zijn ondertussen even snel als de BMW's, Porsches en andere Ferrari's uit de GT2-klasse. Het is daarenboven niet uitgesloten dat andere GT3's (Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini) vooraan zullen staan. Verwacht dus maar een strijd tussen Ferrari, Porsche, BMW en Audi in Spa, met enkele andere GT3's als outsiders.

'k Weet niet of het de gewoonte is, maar toen Thomas Bastin vanmiddag over de Spyker praatte, voegde hij er dit aan toe: "Het zou toch wel mooi zijn deze wagen aan de start te zijn in de 24h van Spa!", net alsof hij iets meer wist.
Nu niet dat Spyker potten zou breken, maar welkom zijn ze zeker!

Ik hoop dat de organisatie de Corvettes GT2 kunnen overhalen om te komen.
Dat zou mij iig wel overhalen om naar Spa af te reizen .

Is de wedstrijd dit jaar te zien op 2BE? Het logo is namelijk te zien op da affiche van de race...
