24 uur Nurburgring
Van 13 tot 16 mei.

Nog een dikke 2 weken dus en het is weer zover. Voor mezelf 1 van de leukste wedstrijden om te gaan zien. Veel mooie, snelle wagens, vele toppers aan de start, waanzinnig circuit, veel toeschouwers. Een week feest dus.

Vandaag een dode gevallen in de 3e wedstrijd van het VLN-seizoen . Naar verluit een Aston Martin Vantage uitgebrand ter hoogt van Bergwerk.

wow, ik ben daar geweest, en ben rond dat uur naar huis vertrokken, en lees nu pas wat er gebeurd is :s

Ja, dan blijf je toch even extra stil staan hé.


Nu zal ik, zoals vorig jaar, terug deel nemen in het voorprogramma van deze 24u. Het 2nd Renault Race festival met mijn blauwe Clio Cup.
Zwaai maar eens , dan zwaai ik terug, als ik niet te druk bezig ben het circuit verder te leren kennen. Met mijn deelname van vorig jaar heb ik max 15 rondjes achgter de kiezen, en het zit er nog steeds niet in hoor. Dus 't zal terug voorzichtig rijden zijn. Maar o zo mooi, super circuit, super sfeer, onvergetelijk. Dus laat de foto's en video's maar komen www.fjracingteam.be

Zal proberen te zwaaien, fotokes maken wordt wat moeilijker. Mijn goei toestel is kapot en wordt met een gewoon toestel foto's maken.
Er zal een Belgische vlag wapperen tussen Hohe Acht en Hedwig Hohe.
Ben er normaal vanaf maandag Als je zin hebt kom je maar is af. Er zal bier en barbeque genoeg zijn.

Anders moet je nog proberen in te schrijven voor de corso op woensdagavond, is een heel belevenis.

Kan iemand efjes zeggen hoe het correct zit met de tickets. Ring is gratis?, vanaf je het echt circuit op gaat pas betalen? Of heel de nordschleife betalend?

In voorgaande jaren moest men ook betalen voor de Nordschleife tijdens de 24 uur. Tijdens reguliere VLN weekends is de Nordschleife gratis en moest men betalen voor de paddock en GP-gedeelte. Althans, zo was de situatie tot en met 2009, dit jaar ben ik er nog niet geweest.

Als je nu kijkt naar de stand lijkt het meest waarschijnlijke dat een van de Audi R8's gaat winnen. Met 4 wagens in de top 8 op dit moment, pr-technisch hoop ik eigenlijk dat de Williams Hybride Porsche gaat winnen.

Ik geef mijn kansen aan de Porsche Hybrid . Doet 1 à 2 ronden meer dan de naaste tegenstanders dus zal pitstops uitsparen. Qua tempo moet hij nauwelijks onderdoen voor de R8's dus ik zie het wel zitten. Weet iemand of dat ding eigenlijk kan verder rijden indien de hybridesystemen falen?
