Peugeot RC Cup.
Nieuwe en innovatieve cup met dieselmotor, gebaseerd op de Peugeot RC Diamond (2002).
Deze racewagens rijden op een mengeling van 50% diesel en 50% "bio-olie" of een soort van plantaardige olie, vanwaar de benaming Peugeot RC Diester. Monocoque chassis uit aluminium aangedreven door een 2.2 liter die 175 pk produceerd. Gewicht: 790 kg. De eerste race wordt gereden volgend weekend in Nogaro met voorlopig al 26 wagens aan de start. Hoe zouden die een race starten? Wachten tot het licht op groen gaat..........iedereen zijn sleutel omdraaien.............wachten totdat ie klaar is met "voorgloeien" en dan vertrekken?
