LMS Race Paul Ricard 2011
Wie er verantwoordelijk is weten we nog niet maar de start van de eerste race is zojuist op een blamage uitgelopen. Heel wat schade bij de deelnemers achterin, waaronder aan een van de Prospeed Porsches.
De lichten waren op groen maar de safetycar bleef voor het veld bij de start, hoe en waarom? Nog geen idee over.

Vergelijkbaar met de start van de 24 Uren van Spa in 2003, toen er een tweede opwarmronde werd gereden, en het doet me ook terugdenken aan de Belcar-race in Zolder in 2004 toen er ook zoiets gebeurde nog voor de start was gegeven. Maar zoiets zoals nu heb ik nog niet vaak gezien, het is erg amateuristisch en bovendien levensgevaarlijk. Ik denk dat dit nog een staartje krijgt, of dat hoop ik toch voor Porsche, dat volledig uitgeteld is.

Worden alle LMS races live uitgezonden op motorsTV?
Ben momenteel naar de laatste minuten van de race aan het kijken op motorsTV maar wist dus niet dat het live werd uitgezonden

er werd ook wel nog op alle posten geel gezwaaid. Ik denk dat de safetycar zowiezo nog een ronde ging buitenblijven maar dat het met d elichten fout ging.

Dan nog zouden alle teams verwittigd moeten worden en moeten vooral die lichten op oranje staan, en als ze dan al op groen springen dan moeten ze zo snel mogelijk weer rood of oranje worden.
Wat ik nog het ergste vind is dat de organisatie doet alsof zijn neus bloedt...  EDIT: Volgens Endurance-info stond er wel iemand met een groene vlag te zwaaien... Last edited by Grig-O; 03-04-2011 at 20:42.

Ook al was het een startprocedure met 2 warm-up laps dan nog was de SC verkeerd. De lichten waren uit........
Al met al kunnen we concluderen dat enkele blauwe blazers vandaag zwaar de mist in zijn gegaan, gelukkig zonder gewonden of nog erger. Worden die officials nou ook gestraft? Als een coureur over de witte lijn gaat krijgen ze al een straf. Dit was wel een zeer zware fout van de officials.

Dat ze voor start/finish nog met geel zwaaien in de warm-up lap is logisch, daar is de wedstrijd nog niet gestart. Het is wel opmerkelijk dat de eerste post na start/finish met geel zwaait terwijl er op dat moment nog niks is gebeurd.
Was het dan toch een startprocedure met twee warm-up laps? Dat kan die gele vlag verklaren op de eerste post na start/finish en het doven van de lichten op de SC. Dan zit de fout bij de pipo die de lampen moest bedienen.
