Ik lees op 10/10th forum dat in de Autosport van deze week gemeld wordt dat Dyson redelijk zeker volgend jaar een paar Lola B06/10s (LMP1 versie) zal inzetten. Iemand vermeldt dat AER twin turbo V8 als motor gebruikt kan worden; geen idee of dit speculatie is of in Autosport staat.

Het gaat om een 3.6 twin turbo V8 met directe injectie (FSI). 2 miniscule foto's:


Een en andere begint nu duidelijk te worden. De eerste computertekeningen van de Riley MkXIV tonen de installatie van een turbo V8. AER is tevens een turbo V8 met directe injectie aan het ontwikkelen (een cilinderinhoud tussen 3.6 en 4.0 liter).

Het lijkt voor de hand te liggen dat Porsche bij zijn uiteindelijke overstap van LMP2 naar LMP1 gewoon 2 turbos op de nieuwe 3.4 V8 zal plaatsen.

De LMP klassen beginnen zich meer en meer als een high-profile-low-budget series te ontwikkelen, belooft veel voor de toekomst

Ja staat erin In het geval van Dyson zou het om een open versie gaan. .........daaruit kunnen we concluderen dat hij ook in een gesloten versie verkrijgbaar is. De eerste design-werkzaamheden zijn reeds gedaan.....het design maken ze pas af als er een serieuze klant komt

Zal de Lola B06/10 niet grotendeels gebaseerd zijn op Lola B05/40?

Dyson blijft dus trouw samenwerken met AER. Nu maar hopen dat het totaal pakket eindelijk betrouwbaar wordt...

Nu maar duimen dat Lola (en Riley) klanten kunnen vinden voor hun gesloten prototype. Ik vind die dubbel rolbeugel (verplicht voor open prototypes) maar niks.

Meer info over de nieuwe AER V8 biturbo: http://www.infoscourse.org/article.php?sid=1200

Het gaat om een totaal nieuw ontwerp en de cilinders zijn in een V van 75°. Wel speciaal, want de Audi V8 is een conventiele 90° en de Cosworth lijkt (althans op foto) ook 90° te gebruiken. Cilinderinhoud kan varieren tussen 3.4 en 4 liter, afhankelijk van de wens van de klant.

Na ALMS en LMES, zullen de Jappen ook een Sportcar endurance serie (met ACO reglement) beginnen

Verder kan ik niks zeggen/laten zien.

Weet niet echt wat ik er van moet vinden. De voorkant is in ieder geval niet het standaard design. Wil eerst meer foto's zien voordat ik er echt een oordeel over geef.

prachtig, geen normale wagen en daarom leuk om te zien nu moet hij alleen nog een beetje snel zijn
