Idd. 2 LMP2's met een Mazda krachtbron. Wel een beetje vreemd, er is/was namelijk sprake dat de Pescarolo LMP2's volgend jaar met een Sodemo/BMW V8 motor zouden rijden, kunnen we dan misschien nog een 3de Pescarolo LMP2 verwachten met deze motor of is dit project opgedoekt?

Daar zit ik ook aan te denken. Het zou mooi zijn om toch een 3e aan de start te krijgen.

Het Bugatti circuit wordt toegevoegd aan de LMS kalender.

Maar moeten we hier spreken van twee testdagen of een race weekend op 22/23 april. Dit omdat Racexpress spreekt van testdagen en Pitstop tv over een race.

Volgens de kalender van het Le Mans circuit zijn dit gewoon testdagen: Essais Le Mans Series. Bovendien valt 22 en 23 april op een woensdag en donderdag, dus dat maakt het helemaal ongeloofwaardig dat het een race is. Kortom Racexpress heeft het bij het rechte eind.

Ze hebben het verwijderd want ik ben er 100% zeker van dat ik het heb gelezen. Schrijver van dienst was PB.

Want ik dacht nog bij mezelf. Na het afscheid van JC bij Pitstop moet PB zich ook weer meer en meer gaan bezig houden met LMS en FIA GT enz.

Racexpress had eerst ook race staan...maar is later gecorrigeerd.

Bij beide sites is het een gevalletje 'oud nieuws' aangezien deze testdagen al langere tijd bekend waren...

Altijd printscreens maken van dat soort "issues"

Wat betreft LMS en P1 in 2009 is er een oude bekende minder op de grid te vinden.

Bevestiging van een LMS seizoen met wel degelijk 5 races :

Au cours des dernières semaines, certains websites ont annoncé avec fracas l'ajout d'une 6ème épreuve à la Le Mans Series 2009, en l'occurrence une manche de 1000 Km disputée sur le circuit Bugatti du Mans, à la fin du mois d'avril. Les organisateurs de la LMS ont aujourd'hui confirmé, par voie de communiqué de presse, qu'il n'en était rien, et que leur compétition 2009 se limiterait bel et bien à 5 manches.

Overigens zijn die testdagen op Le Mans Bugatti inmiddels wel verplaatst van 22-23 april naar 25-26 april.
