FIA GT 2010: "as few races as possible in Europe"!
Vandaag een stukje in de gedrukte Autosport over de plannen van het heerschap Ratel m.b.t. zijn WK 2010 (Voor de heren van PK, nog even wachten voordat jullie deelnemen aan een echt WK )

Verdeling races:
- 4 x "klassiek" Europa (Spa, Silverstone, ?, ?) In 2010 misschien nog 5 of 6 om de overgang makkelijker te maken.
- 2 x Zuid-Amerika (Argentinie en Brazilie)
- 2 x Oost-Europa (Boekarest/Moscow)
- 1 x Japan (om Japanse fabrieken een plezier te doen)
- 1 x China
- 1 x Australie (er schijnt een promoter/circuit zo goed als zeker te zijn)
- 1 tot 3 races in het Midden-Oosten.

De volgden 3 merken worden bij naam genoemd als constructeur voor de nieuwe wagens:

- Ford / Matech (is dat niet bijna een youngtimer in 2010? )
- Lambo / Reiter
- Nissan / Nismo (zijn op bezoek geweest in Adria)

Mooie kalender indien men WK status krijgt, maar ik denk niet dat de Europese teams hier op zitten te wachten.

Dit plan van Ratel slaat op niets vind ik persoonlijk. Een WK met manches over de hele wereld is op zich perfect in orde. Het probleem is echter dat de FIA GT voor privé-teams is. De privé-teams die hieraan zouden kunnen deelnemen zijn volgens mij niet zo dik gezaaid. Ik hoop alleszins dat het niet gaat worden zoals in het WTCC, waar slechts drie merken kunnen meedingen voor het kampioenschap ...

Volgens mij zit Ratel ook niet te wachten op de ouderwetse zelfstandige Europese teams Hij wil fabrikanten in zijn kampioenschap..........en die huren dan weer een team/structuur in die het hele zaakje operationeel beheren. Dus misschien toch dezelfde teams maar dan met ondersteuning van de fabrikanten.

Ja

Ik kan me voorstellen dat Moskou of Rusland in het algemeen een belangrijke markt is voor fabrikanten als Porsche, Maserati en Ferrari.

Als ik het goed lees op autosport.be dan telt de 24 uren van spa in 2010
voor gt1 gt2 gt3 mee dan word de 24 uren ook weer leuk,dan krijgen we
weer een groot start veld.

@ tarzancorner: punten zullen er enkel voor GT1 en GT2 zijn, GT3 en GT4 zijn welkom in 2010. Sorry voor de onduidelijkheid
