FIA GT1 2010: Playground @ the Nordschleife?

Net dus als Matech met de Ford GT. Ze gebruiken de VLN om de nieuwe GT1 auto's te testen. voor 2010.

De Ferrari 430 zal de laatste 2 races meedoen van 2008 en het volledige seizoen van 2009.

Ziet er goed uit, alleen die uit-de-boot-vallende spoiler past er niet op.

Is dit de Ferrari uit het bericht van Mark? (ik denk van niet, dit lijkt me meer een prive initiatief)

De spoiler is inderdaad niet mooi.

Die wing-end plates zijn iets te diep neer mijn smaak. Bovendien betwijfel ik of die wel reglementair zouden zijn in de FIA GT. Als ze dan toch een FIA GT-avontuurtje willen voorbereiden moeten ze het ineens fatsoenlijk doen.

Ik denk dat dit om een variante van de Ferrari 430 voor Nordschleife gaat. Deze wagens hoeven niet te voldoen aan FIA regels. Kijk maar naar de beste Porsches die daar rijden, ook getunede versie van 911 GT3 RSR (diffusor, grotere achtervleugel, meer vermogen, ...).

OK, in de VLN zullen ze wel toegelaten zijn. Maar het was toch de bedoeling om naar een GT1 te evolueren? Het lijkt mij beter om dan ineens hem in GT1-spec te zetten en zo ervaring op te doen dan hem in VLN-spec te zetten?

Niet persé als je een gewoon privé team bent dat zich het VLN kampioenschap voor ogen heeft hé. Dat FIA GT-Spec zal wel gedaan worden door een iets bekender team

Hoezo in GT1-spec zetten? De GT1 van nu is er straks niet meer. Ze gaan alleen naar de VLN toe omdat de reglementen daar wat vrijer zijn, wat weer mogelijk maakt om dingen te testen.

ff duidelijkheid scheppen: Het handelt inderdaad om een wagen die gebouwd is door Michelotto, maar het is 'gewoon' een Ferrari 430 die gebouwd is volgens de regels van de Langstreckenmeisterschaft (gebaseerd op een GT2). Deze wagen heeft niets te maken met de toekomstige GT1-regels; die trouwens nog niet vast liggen.

Wat is eigenlijk de bedoeling van deze thread? Want van toekomstige GT1-wagens is op de Nürburgring nog geen sprake geweest. De Matech Ford GT heeft volgens mij nog zelfs geen meter gereden op de Nordschleife.
