DTM 2011 - De nieuwtjes
Alexandre Prémat werd door Audi aan de deur gezet. Benieuwd welke piloot zijn plaats zal innemen in de driver's line-up voor 2011. In de laatste DTM-race van dit seizoen (Shanghai) zal hij vervangen worden door de Chinees Daryll O'Young.

Audi had nog geen chinees Mercedes wel alles voor de auto verkoop in China

En in tegenstelling tot Mercedes ook nog geen Canadees (O'Young is half Canadees)....

Volgens mij gaan we de komende twee jaar een toename zien in het aantal Belgen en Nederlanders in de DTM van 2012 und so weiter. Even een linkje terugzoeken

Die banden () tussen BMW en Dunlop in endurance zeggen me niet zoveel voor het DTM.

De BMW M3 is opgebouwd rond om Dunlop Banden met de gedachten dat men met de M3 ook in de DTM gaat rijden
De DTM Dunlop banden zijn natuurlijk iets anders dan de banden voor de LMS of VLN maar ja alle informatie die BMW uit het Dunlop rubber haalt is mooi mee genomen je weet maar nooit dit kleine voordeel kunnen ze nu niet meer gebruiken.
Ik ben alleen benieuwd waarom ze met Dunlop stoppen het was altijd een goede partner.

Kan ook zijn dat Dunlop stopt met DTM? Al had ik dan als Dunlop zijnde toch nog even gewacht tot einde 2012, maar goed misschien dat DTM dat weer niet wilde.

Following October's race at Hockenheim, former champions Gary Paffett and Mattias Ekstrom spent a day testing with Hankook tyres as part of this process.
Negotiations with suppliers for 2011 are still ongoing, but the series has promised to announce a new deal as soon as one is agreed.
