Nog 5 supermeetings in 2004
Het aantal Supermeetings wordt in 2004 teruggebracht van 7 naar 5. RACB Sport heeft vanmiddag in Hoei de kalender vrijgegeven.
De Belcar blijft top of the bill tijdens de Supermeetings aangevuld met de 2 Renault-competities en de Mini Cooper Challenge. Daarnaast organiseert Belcar nog een race tijdens de World Series op Zolder en trekt het hele veld naar Assen. Kalender 2004: - 18/4 - New Race Festival (ZOLDER) - 6/6 - Spa Euro Race (FRANCORCHAMPS) - 21-22/8 - 24 Zolder (ZOLDER) - 26/9 - Racing Festival (FRANCORCHAMPS) - 17/10 - Belcar Masters (ZOLDER) www.pitstop.tv

De Belpro zal dan wel een BTCS-meeting worden...........
Maaruh lees ik dat goed, komen de Worldseries terug? Joepieeeeeee, dit jaar was dat een supermeeting. In 2004 dus niet, Worldseries V6, Belcar + ??????. Komt de rest van de Worldseries organisatie ook naar Zolder? In dat geval weet ik nog een leuke hotelkamer voor Milka Duno op nog geen 60 km van Zolder

ik denk dat de reden voor het wegvallen van twee supermeetings eenvoudig is
in turbo magazine las ik dat het succes van de supermeetings tegen viel +het wegvallen van de yaris cup+budgetair een groter startveld te creeren voor promotiecups zoals de F1600 wordt de yariscup eigenlijk vervangen?

De Supermeetings waren inderdaad niet altijd een succes. Het lijkt me dan ook beter om goede buitenlandse kampioenschappen bij op de affiche te zetten: Formula Nissan, VLN, Franse GT's, Duitse kampioenschap dat vanaf 2004 met Super 2000 regels gaat rijden en misschien SCV8 om er maar een paar te noemen. Maar dat is natuurlijk allemaal niet zo eenvoudig...
