Mclaren MP4-20 - Revell - 1/24
Deze kit zit nog maar in zijn beginfase. Heb net alles samengegooid om zo te kunnen zien naar de proporties en zodoende alle naden ook mooi te kunnen wegwerken.
Al bij al is deze kit best wel OK voor die prijs.

Ik heb een hele tijd geleden er eens een kit info over gepost: http://forum.depaddock.eu/showthread.php?t=12039

Ben ondertussen net zo ver als jij met deze kit, maar naar een thread zullen vergeefs moeten zoeken. Ik ga er immers een artikel over schrijven, dus tot die tijd zal jullie geduld wat op de proef gesteld worden.

Echter, deze MP4/20 heeft 1 grote tekort koming. De voorste ophaning, inclusief neus en spoiler lijken afkomstig van een MP4/19. Waarom Revell hier een loopje neemt met de waarheid, is me een raadsel. Toch denk ik dat een modificatie van dit gedeelte niet nodig zal zijn, vermits eens gebouwd hij er wel overtuigend genoeg zal uitzien.

heb hier en daar al wat spleten enzo opgevult met puty maar er is nog veel werk aan de body om hem netjes te krijgen. Ook de panellines moet je allemaal dieper maken.
bodemplaat en voorspoiler zijn al wel in kleur gezet

Na een aantal dagen schuren staat ie weer in de grondverf en zo blijkt is er nog wel wat schuurwerk
wielen zijn al wel een deeltje afgewerkt

De eerste decals staan erop en zijn van redelijke goede kwaliteit. Zelfs de witte decals hebben weinig last van doorschijnen

Goed om zien dat de witte decals op de zijkanten er precies toch redelijk makkelijk op gegaan zijn, of vergis ik mij?

Yup witte decals gaan er redelijke gemakkelijk op. De moeilijkste is eigenlijk de voorste decal omdat deze 1 groot geheel is.
Sponser decals staan er ook op, nog even en het lijkt nog echt op een mclaren

Begint er echt wel heel leuk uit te zien nu. Dit is de laatste McLaren die nog niet in chroomkleur gespoten was zeker?

Dit was inderdaad de laatste mclaren die in het gewone zilver nog stond.
Het einde is in zicht

leuk model en interessant om de bouw van een F1 revell kit eens te volgen.

Ik zou echter de banden eens opschuren want deze blinken ietsje te hard
