Let wel dat ChampCar veel op stratencircuits rijdt waar je dus alleen maar tijdelijke faciliteiten hebt...dus wat ze exact verbeterd willen zien weet ik niet. Maar waar zet je op Zolder een extra tribune neer? (behalve op het einde paddock).

In Zolder zouden ze dan zeker de tribune naast de hoofdtribune moeten bezetten met stoeltjes. Ook serieuse tribunes in de kanaalzone...
Maar dan nog - je moet toch capaciteit minstens 50 000 zitjes hebben voor dergelijk gigantisch evenement.

Vergeef het me als ik cynisch ben, maar wie wil er in godsnaam nog in Zolder gaan racen? De Fia GT's gaan al zwaar verschieten, laat staan de champ cars.
En ten tweede, wie wil er in godsnaam nog in Zolder gaan kijken? Ik weet dat hier nog fans zitten van het circuit, maar voor mij heeft het al lang afgedaan. Het zou verschrikkelijk tof zijn als de champ cars komen, maar ik zie ze eerder op de ring rond Antwerpen rijden dan in Zolder

Nu er hier (terecht!) een champcar hype heerst word het mss eens tijd om te bekijken wie er gaat rijden in 2007 in de nieuwe Panoz DP01 Champ Cars.
Ik vond op het forum van 10 Tenths de volgende lijst van wie er waar mogelijk gaat rijden, de lijst zou up-to-date zijn volgens de laatste nieuwe "roddels"... Quote:

Waar ga je die bouwen in de chicane? ofwel zit je enorm ver van het circuit en het stuk dat ze vroeger gebruikten is nu grindbak.

Tijdens de Bergische Loewe stond daar altijd een tribune, voor de Alfa-tifosi. MB en Opel hadden hun tribunes aan de buitenkant van de Ickx op de openbare (in dit geval afgelsoten) openbare weg.
