Een tijd geleden berichtte Motorsport Aktuell dat Laurent Aiello een contract met Peugeot had getekend voor 2006 om in het WTCC uit te komen.

Waarschijnlijk geen Mollekens in WTCC: WTCC: Tijd dringt voor Kurt Mollekens (autosport.be)

En Oregon team denkt aan Renault Mégane, als dat zo is wie wordt dan satteliet-team van Alfa ? Conrero, Bigazzi(hebben 1 156 gekocht voor...italiaans ST), Clever-Cats R&M, Leone Motorsport ? Had Alfa geen 6 auto's beloofd : hoe gaan ze anders de merkentitel heroveren outnumbered by BMW . Als ze nog 2 Autodelta 156 bij inzetten is dat OK uiteraard : Tavano was aanvankelijk aangekondigd bij Autodelta (Giovanardi zou Maserati Fia-GT gaan rijden maar da's herroepen . Van mij mogen ze Kurt in nen Alfa droppen als er geen 2e RBM-W komt . Rijderstitel gaat dit jaar naar Alfarijder (tenzij ze'r mekaar weer afrijden) let maar op : Grotere remmen dit jaar (bij Alfa zijn dat brembo's ; bij BMW, Seat...niet) .

Er zijn ook andere fabrikanten die goeie remmen maken, bv. AP Racing.

- BTCC coureur Jason Plato zal ook enkele WTCC races voor Seat rijden. Zie: http://www.kennylovrin.se/tctv2/main...iewnews&id=224

- Voormalig Seat ETCC coureur Frank Diefenbacher is in de race voor een stoeltje bij het Hotfiel Ford team (semi-fabrieksteam). Andere kandidaat is voormalig DTM coureur Thomas Jaeger. Zie: http://www.kennylovrin.se/tctv2/main...iewnews&id=225

Het rommelt bij Brilliance..........de eerste wedstrijd(en) zullen we niet aan de start zien. De samenwerking tussen de Chinezen en John Batchelor en Vic Lee Racing verloopt niet zoals gehoopt.

Volgens een bericht op www.racingworld.it zouden de Engelse partners in dit project niet dat hebben kunnen brengen of leveren wat ze beloofd hebben. Vandaar dat de Chinezen nu verder gaan met Menard Engineering Limited (voor de kenners, de restanten van het TWR-imperium). Menard gaat de wagen nu ontwikkelen en bouwen. Of die Chinezen nu helemaal eerlijk zijn is nog maar de vraag..........moeilijk volk om zaken mee te doen

Voor John Batchelor en Vic Lee Racing zou er overigens wel nog ruimte zijn in het raceprogramma voor de Brilliance M1. Hoe en wat? Die details krijgen we nog te horen.................

"Definitief" geen Carly Motors in het WTCC, misschien richting het Duitse kampioenschap. Afhankelijk van budget en coureur. Toch sterk dat de privateer kampioen van 2003 en 2004 geen budget heeft in 2005. bron: Racingworld.it

Vic Lee blijkt ondertussen gisteren gearresteerd te zijn (voor drugssmokkel naar het schijnt)

Cirtek Motorsport heeft activiteiten van VLR overgenomen
