Over de test in Misano las ik het volgende op facebook bij Oliver Gavin:

He was driving SRT's C6r GT1 car but the car was being run jointly by PK, DKR, SRT, with some support from LAA. Alex Roberge & Doug Louth were over from Pratt & Miller to oversee and help run the test. Everyone worked extremely well together and Michelin seemed happy with the results from the day.

Nog een team dat in de running zou zijn voor Aston's in te zetten: Fischer Racing
Idd, het team dat we kennen van de Ford GT's in FIA GT3.

Verdeling volgens het blaadje autosport 12.11:

Nissan => Gigawave & Swiss Racing Team
Ford => Matech & Marc/VDS
Lambo => Reiter zegt dat de teams in aantocht zijn
Chevy => PK/Selleslagh en DKR
AM => Fisher & Hexis
Maserati => Vitaphone/Bartels en een tweede team met €'s van Vitaphone/Bartels.

Net zoals het merendeel van de andere GT1's die zullen rijden dus ...

Kostendrukkend? Don't think so ... Een downgrade van bodywork gaat daarin zeker geen aanzienlijke besparing opleveren.

Dat was wel te verwachten met een compleet nieuw kampioenschap in een jaar van financiële wereldcrisis. Oude wijn in nieuwe vaten
Ik ben vooral benieuwd hoeveel teams er nog in de laatste WK-race aan de start gaan staan...
