Trouwens de Audi TT van BTS racing die in de openingsreply van deze thread staat, is, denk ik een heel ander project. Tijdens de 24 uur van Zolder wist Tony Frans me te vertellen dat ze bezig waren met de bouw van een Audi TT. Ze zouden hem afhankelijk van budgetten inzetten in Touring Cup en/of BTCS. Ik denk dat het in de openingsthread over deze TT gaat...

Zoals eerder vermeld stond er op Racingworld te lezen dat er een grote kans was dat David Hart de Corvette samen zal bemannen met Marc Goossens voor ’t Belcar seizoen 2005.

De "nieuwtjes" uit het Belcarboek 2004 voor het seizoen 2005:
Qvick: Inzet van de Ultima. Minder gewicht, sterkere motor en aanpassingen in de aerodynamica (splitter en difuser) Belgium Racing: Inzet van een Ultima. Track Promotion: Inzet van een Porsche 996 GT3-RSR of de huidige RS voorzien van een aantal evoluties. Beliën: Er wordt gekeken of men de Z3 weer kan inzetten........in dat geval mogen we twee wagens verwachten van Beliën. MI International: De Ford silhouette mogen we terug verwachten als we de woorden lezen van Vincent Radermecker. Eventueel voorzien betere rubbers en een grotere motor. Mocht dat doorgaan dan voorzie ik toch een klein probleem............dan zal de silhouette sneller worden dan destijds is voorzien door de organisatie (remember, net achter de top van de GTB klasse) KS Motorsport: Inzet van een tweede silhouette Let wel, alle nieuwtjes zijn verwachtingen die worden uitgesproken door de teams. Dat wil dus niet zeggen dat het 100% zeker zal zijn.

Daar straks telefoon gekregen van Kelly Jamers, met de prettig mededeling dat het vanaf nu officiëel is dat ze een volledig seizoen Belcar gaat rijden samen met Philip Cracco de Porsche GT3 van Accent Racing.

Geen, Kelly zei iets van het blijft een samen werking met first. Maar de Porsche van First wordt bemand door Kevin Leest en nog iemand. De porsche waar kelly mee gaat rijden is niet de Biturbo hé.

De MI Mondeo Silhouette mag je al schrappen. Wegens gebrek aan steun van de invoerder heeft de Sordi de wagen verkocht aan Thiry en wordt deze omgebouwd tot een Jaguar. Twee Jag's in BTCS, over Belcar wordt niets gezegd. (bron: turbo magazine)
