In de Autosport van vorige week stond een kort berichtje over dit project op Spa met de GT3 R8. Volgens Dr. Ulrich kwam er zeker geen Audi GT1 in 2010! Dat zegt dan weer niks over 2011 en verder. Wellicht een prive initiatief van Phoenix in 2010? Maar dat lijkt me onwaarschijnlijk gezien de sterke band tussen Phoenix en Audi.

De DTM Audi TT van Abt in 2000...


Maar nu de banden tussen Porsche en VAG steeds nauwer worden lijkt me een GT2 ook uitgesloten (tenzij Porsche richting GT1 of LMP1 gaat).

Volgens een berichtje in de Autosport van afgelopen donderdag zouden er 4 Corvettes in aantocht zijn voor de GT1. Downgrades van de huigige wagens. PK/Carsport met 2 stuks en Ratel zou werken aan een fusie tussen SRT en DKR waarbij 1 wagen in de braziliaanse kleuren staat en de andere in argentijnse kleuren.

Zoiets zat er natuurlijk aan te komen, al had ik eerder gedacht aan een fusie PK/SRT en DKR/LAA, maar dit is natuurlijk ook dik in orde! LAA zal natuurlijk weer voorrang geven aan het uiterst competitieve LMGT1...

Lopez en Russo samen met Bernoldi en Streit bij DKR?

Ik heb gelezen (op 10/10's?) dat de kans bestaat dat LMGT1 volgend jaar nog welkom is in LMS... Weet er iemand meer?...

Volgens het stukje in Autosport is nog niet alles getekend. De FIA gaat ervan uit dat alles goed gaat komen. Op deze manier ligt Ratel/SRO 5 maanden voor op schema. Kan dus alleen maar in de kaart spelen van SRO/teams/coureurs om hun plannen voor 2010 vorm te geven.

Merken waarvan bekend is dat ze bezig zijn met GT1 wagens spec 2010
  • Nissan (nieuw)

  • Corvette (downgrade huidige GT1)
  • Ferrari (upgrade GT2)
  • Aston Martin (upgrade GT2? Downgrade GT1?)
  • Ascari (zie nieuwssprokkels in deze thread)
Het lijstje zoals het er nu uit zou moeten zien:
  • Nissan GT-R (nieuw)
  • Ford GT (upgrade GT3 Matech)
  • Lamborghini Murcielago SV (nieuw)
  • Corvette C6.R (downgrade huidige GT1)
  • Aston Martin DBR9 (downgrade huidige GT1)
  • Maserati MC12 (downgrade huidige GT1)

De Maserati is nog niet officieel goedgekeurd maar schijnt een kwestie van tijd te zijn.

Daarmee is het maximum aan deelnemende fabrikanten bereikt en zijn 'vermeende' projecten van Audi, Ferrari, Jaguar, Alpina BMW en Ascari dus (nog) niet levensvatbaar gebleken.

Veel blijft bij het oude; spijtig dat het aantal fabrikanten gelimiteerd is...

Ik blijf in herhaling vallen maar ik zie nog steeds het nut niet van deze nieuwe GT1 klasse, zeker niet als dit veelal gedowngrade GT1 wagens zijn. Waarom niet gewoon 1 GT klasse (dus huidige GT2)?

Ook ik blijf in herhaling vallen Jawel, Ratel/SRO komen hun aankondigingen/uitspraken wederom niet na! Nieuwe fabrikanten/modellen? Dat was geen enkel probleem volgens die Fransoos. En nu? We zien gewoon oude meuk voorbij komen. Laat staan de aanstaande soap rondom het minimaal verplichte aantal straatwagens en de MC12 van Maserati.

Tot op heden maar 1 echte nieuwe "2010 wagen", namelijk de Nissan. De Ford is niet meer te koop en de Lambo is nieuw plaatwerk op oude buizen

Tot heden, Lexus is met iets bezig! Nog niet zeker dat dit voor het FIA GT1 is. Echter hoop doet leven

Toch wel. Joost geeft enkel aan dat VDS een persconferentie heeft gehouden tijdens de FIA GT 24 Hours of Spa en daar werden de vier piloten voorgesteld.

Dat er achteraf veranderingen gebeuren kan niet iedereen direct weten. Maar aangeven en effectief ook doorgaan is een verschil. Maar we zullen zien!
