Punch International lijkt vooralsnog niet de reddende engel te zijn voor NedCar.
Dat zegt bestuurder Chris van Bokkum van FNV Bondgenoten. Punch wil in Born hybride auto's bouwen volgens het Smart-model, in een productie van 15.000 tot 20.000 per jaar. Dat is niet genoeg om twee ploegen aan het werk te houden, zegt de FNV-bestuurder. Hij wil eerst duidelijke plannen zien om een oordeel te kunnen vellen over de overnamekandidaat. Als de plannen serieus genoeg zijn, zal de werkgroep die ijvert voor de toekomst van NedCar contact opnemen met Punch International, aldus Chris van Bokkum.
