What a terrible week this has been: it is our sad duty to report that Will Hoy died last night, a brain tumour responsible for his demise.

There's a link between Will and Roy Baker: Will drove a Roy Baker Tiga at Le Mans in 1985, finishing fourth in C2. Will's greatest achievements were in the BTCC, in particular his championship title in 1991.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family.
