October 13th, 2002 - Sometimes human being needs to feel strong emotions to prove himself to be alive, for this reason a few of us decided to be a car racing driver.
One of them, Alessandro Zanardi, one year ago was unluckily prevented to continue to have those strong emotions but it seems he wishes to continue to prove himself to be alive notwithstanding his disablement.
When he was invited to take part to the 2nd Karting Star Cup in Montecarlo, he probably accepted willingly for two main reasons, because it was a charity race but also because he wanted to put himself under test.
Unluckily it was not possible for him to take part to the race due to a problem on his kart during the warm-up session, but he was able the same to test it and, above all, to have strong emotions again.
During his career he did it thousend times, a normal operation for a "normal" driver but, this time, to have his racesuit on again, it was a special moment for Alessandro: "Three days ago I tried to get into my racesuit again and, honestly, I must tell that when I closed the zipper and I saw myself on the mirror, it was an intense moment. Luckily I was alone so I enjoyed that moment ..... it was nice to see my entire figure in the mirror ...".
Dear Alessandro, seeing you wearing your racesuit it was moving also for us ....
