Hierbij nam Abresch drie Moslers mee, namelijk die van Martin Short, Guino Kenis en Berry van Elk. Allen konden zij hun weg niet vervolgen, wat erin resulteerde dat de safetycar al na de eerste ronde de baan opkwam.
