International GT supremo Stephane Ratel has confirmed plans to banish the GT1 class from the Spa 24 Hours next year, and give GT2 centre stage.
Speaking at Spa today, Ratel confirmed that the 2010 Belgian enduro would be part of the planned 2010 European GT2 Championship. GT3 and GT4 cars will also be eligible, while the new GT1 World Championship will have two, separate one-hour races at the meeting.
