Belgian G&A Racing got the official licence of SRO to build the new BMW E92 V8 Coupé GT4 for the GT4 European Cup. G&A, managed by Guino Kenis, already developed the BMW Z4 Coupé GT4, a car that proved very successful in both the 2007 and 2008 editions of the GT4 European Cup. The car took several victories in the first two editions of the GT4 European Cup and missed the 2008 title by a glimpse. Guino Kenis is both consultant and tuner for the BMW M3 project and as he also runs an official BMW dealership, he is of course very familiar with BMW.

“Thanks to the excellent results with the BMW Z4 Coupé, we now become the exclusive tuner of the BMW E92 M3 V8 Coupé”, explains Guino Kenis.

“But this does not mean the end of the BMW Z4 Coupé. The balance of performance in GT4 results in a well-balanced field and all cars have similar performances, so the BMW Z4 will not be outpaced. The new BMW M3 Coupé is a very interesting car marketing-wise, but of course, will also be very competitive. So both the BMW Z4 and BMW M3 Coupé will be on the starting grid of GT4-races in 2009. The first roll-out will be in January, while the balance of performance tests – by an official SRO driver - will take place in March on the HTTT Circuit Paul Ricard. I think both the BMW Z4 and the BMW M3 Coupé will be front runners in GT4 next year.”
