Volgens diverse kanalen vernomen dat de kaartverkoop bijzonder goed verloopt. Er zouden reeds 58.000 tickets verkocht zijn  Aan wie dan wel? Niet aan de Belg of Nederlander maar aan de Britten. Het "Hamilton-effect" mag als oorzaak worden gezien. Silverstone was dit jaar uitverkocht en voor de Britten zijn de Euro-landen relatief gezien goedkoop.
